You are also provided with charts, which are like a musical shorthand that's used in studios all over the world, and which give you a kind of snapshot of the basic harmony. This allows you to understand the part at a glance, and gives you the ability to improvise, transpose and incorporate your own ideas into the arrangement. Our charts include chord symbols, degrees (also known as Nashville number system) and functions.
A chord function legend is provided with every chart.
